“Volare” on a rocky start
Well its October 15, 2021, and its the start of a new era for Italian aviation. Alitalia ceased operations at the end of the day on October 14, 2021; the next day Italia Trasporto Aereo (ITA) starts operations taking over what Alitalia left for the Italian operations. But it did not go any smooth as everyone expected. The day started was a Brand Idenity crises.

Well, here we go again, let's talk about the Italian Aviation industry. Well, the news in the industry has been good-ish … in per-say. Well, let's quickly recap the recent events. Alitalia officially ending ticket sales as of midnight on August 25, 2021. Wait, Alitalia is actually shutting down? Yes, Alitalia is shutting down for good.
The revival of Alitalia: The scandal and expectations
You can think of Alitalia when you want to fly to Italy. Since being in service from 1946, servicing an average of 21.5 million passengers a year and flying to nearly 100 destinations, plus being the largest airline in Italy both by Fleet and Passengers Flown.
Air Italy would have been a good airline. But why didn’t lasted long?
Air Italy, the former Italian airline, would have been an excellent airline to support the fragile Italian Aviation Industry. However, there are mistakes in the airline that led the airline to be placed in liquidation on February 11, 2020.
